More flowers from my garden!
The rose is actually from my neighbor's yard, but the rest are all in my yard. The second from the bottom photo shows one of my wildflower mixes that I threw out along her fence and ours. I like that spot. It gets morning light and late afternoon shade. That's also where I scatter bird seed, so I get an occasional sunflower, too!

Flowers from my garden~Nature Notes~031914
My garden is slowly awakening. Cosmos, nasturtiums, sweet peas, and California poppies are coming to life. My sunflowers are about three feet tall and GROWING! We've had such a short winter and already a LONG spring, that everything is blooming. The palo verde trees are blooming, the acacias are blooming, and spring is bursting out all over! Here are some of the flowers currently in my garden. Nature Notes for March 19, 2014. ENJOY! To visit Nature Notes, please go to: http://ramblingwoods.com/

Flowers at the park
No, this isn't my garden. I'm just starting to have a few things bloom and I ran out and took a couple of photos yesterday afternoon. These gorgeous beauties are at the Rancho Mirage Whitewater Park. We were there yesterday with the grandson and I wandered over to take a few photos of these flowers and envy them!
