"C" is for California poppies. Last year I broadcast seeds out in front, where I had planted my African daisies. The poppies bloomed and bloomed and bloomed and I was hoping that they went to seed, but it appears they did not. I replanted them in December and they haven't opened up yet, but the African daisies have. ABC Wednesday for February 2, 2010.

They look identical to the yellow poppies we have here, that we call 'Welsh Poppies'. They self seed vigorously! Maybe yours were just taking a rest?

Super. I love these. I've tried to grow them several times and never had a bit of luck. Darn. These are beautiful.
