My sweet peas are blooming! These are the ones I planted in December, all along my chain link fence in our back yard. I FINALLY have a good place for them to grow! I've tried places in the front yard, but none of them got enough sunlight for the sweet peas to grow. Here, along the fence, out back, they get full sun ALL DAY! YEAH! Some are nearly 5 feet tall! I've already done two cuttings and more blossoms are on the way. I'd like to get some horse manure from the ranch and spread it along them, but maybe I'll wait until next year to do that. In the meantime, their fragrance fills my kitchen! Today's Flowers for March 14, 2010.

I love your enthusiasm for the beautiful flowers. I grew up with them in my Dad's garden. It was my mother's favorite flower. Thank you very much for sharing and have a great week.
Simply Gorgeous!
My entry. Have a blessed Sunday!
Thanks for sharing your bits of spring ~ I'm still watching the snow transform into mud puddles!

I love sweet peas and bought some seeds for our garden.
Lovely in the garden and lovely to have in the house.
Such beautiful flowers. I love sweet pea. I grow them too.
I too love sweet peas. Yours look happy growing on the fence. Sheep manure is even more effective than horse if you can get any.
These are great. I always love to see these flowers in the Spring.
